Mission Statement

Project Overview

REGS (Revitalization and Expansion of Ground Station) is a new project intended to help current and future members of the lab explore aspects of amateur radio and RF topics. The projects currently include receiving transmissions from satellites, airplanes/airports, and other HAM radio operators. All transmissions from satellites, airplanes, and the local Easterwood airport ATC tower will be uploaded to data aggregation websites such as SatNOGS, FlightAware, and LiveATC. These websites take uploaded signals from users around the world and allow anyone with access to the internet to see and interact with the data.
