AggieSat Laboratory

Project Overview

Synthetic Orbital Landing Area for Crater Elimination (SOLACE) is AggieSat Laboratory’s submission to the Human Lander Challenge (HuLC). To compete in HuLC, teams are invited to submit proposals for innovative, systems-level solutions to understand, mitigate, and manage the impacts of lunar Plume-Surface Interaction (PSI). We are proposing a lunar landing pad to mitigate the cratering phenomena observed during the Apollo missions.
