All undergraduate, graduate, and professional students of the Texas A&M University System are eligible to apply for membership in the AggieSat Laboratory student organization. The organization and its members shall not discriminate against any individual for reasons of race, color, religion, pregnancy status, gender, national origin, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, or ability status. Federal law pertaining to export controls applies to some of the projects in the organization. As such, individuals selected for membership need to verify citizenship status before participating in the organization. Participation of a foreign national, as defined in the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), requires authorization by the federal government. The temporal and financial costs of obtaining such authorization are included in the consideration of each individual applying for membership in the organization.
